Adam Walker appeared in this matter for the Prosecution, both at first instance and at the Court of Appeal. The victim in the case had fastened her 13 month old child in her car outside her house when she was confronted by the two defendants who then stole her car at knifepoint. Mercifully she was able to remove the child from her car before it was taken. The case relied heavily on circumstantial evidence there being no identification or scientific evidence put the defendants at the scene of the crime. In December 2017 one of the defendants pleaded guilty. During the same week a jury convicted the second. The convicted defendant was given leave to appeal his conviction at the Court of Appeal Criminal Division. Adam was instructed by the Crown at first instance and to draft the respondents notice and attend the appeal hearing. On 6th June 2018 with Adam in attendance the Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal. About Adam Adam was entered on to the Solicitors Roll in 1999 and joined Chambers after being called to the Bar in 2015. Adams profile can be viewed here
