The defendant faced one count of wounding. During an altercation in Harehills in 2022, the defendant used a broken bottle to sever the main artery in the victims arm. As a result of the assault, he suffered life changing injuries. After a 2 day trial at Leeds Crown Court, the Jury returned a unanimous guilty verdict after just 1 hour of deliberation.
