Jade Edwards defends prison officer guilty of misconduct in a public office.

Jade Edwards represented Jordan Trainor in respect of offending committed in 2019 whilst she worked as a prison officer at Wetherby YOI. Mrs Trainor formed inappropriate relationships with two inmates, sent sexualised messages and pictures, and conveyed packages into the prison at the inmates’ request. She pleaded guilty to the offence of misconduct in a public office and was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment by Leeds Crown Court.
