Adam Walker secures an acquittal in a Rape trial at Newcastle Crown Court.
This was the second time that this particular client had been tried for these offences. Adam represented him in both trials. At the first in July the client was convicted of 2 counts of domestic abuse but the jury failed to reach verdicts on counts of Rape, Assault by Penetration and Damage.
After a 3-day retrial at Newcastle Crown Court the jury returned a not guilty verdict on the Rape count and were unable to reach a verdict on the Assault by Penetration.
