39 Park Square is a successful and approachable barristers’ chambers committed to delivering the highest quality of advocacy and service.

We are a small to medium-sized set, with just shy of 20 members, but we consider that an advantage both for us and for you, the client.

Our size allows us to operate in a friendly and direct way with each other, and we believe this carries over into the way we approach our clients and cases.

Our track record shows that we can consistently ‘punch above our weight’ having had members elevated to the Judiciary and Queen’s Counsel, as well as appearing in the House of Lords and Supreme Court.

You will find that a concentration of our members practise criminal law, but there is also a sizeable number with experience in the civil courts, notably with particular expertise in personal injury. Increasingly, regulatory work is also an area in which we are able to provide solutions for our clients.

Our chambers are located in the centre of Leeds, adjacent to the courts and within walking distance of the railway station and secure car parking.

Our central location is also convenient for our annual programme of accredited seminars and training sessions. Alternatively, some of our clients have arranged for ‘tailor-made’ sessions either at chambers or at their own premises.

We are at the heart of the northern legal community, though members do practise nationwide.
