Financial services offences

We have members who are experienced in both the prosecution and defence of VAT, HMRC and SFO matters. Members are also able to advise on all aspects of fraud, with particular experience of banking and mortgage fraud.

Environmental law and health and safety

Our barristers are able to provide both pre-charge advice through to a full trial service on both contentious and non-contentious matters. Members are available to both prosecute or defend on behalf of public bodies, corporations and individuals. Members have particular expertise of prosecutions under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Health and Safety at Work Act.

Trade descriptions

Members have extensive experience of trading standards law and have prosecuted and defended trade descriptions cases.

RSPCA prosecutions

We can provide advocates conversant with all types of animal cruelty cases and who are fully up to date on the relevant case law and legislation, including the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and associated codes of practice.

Disciplinary and inquiry work
