Monique has many years of experience prosecuting and defending in criminal matters, including at Court Martials and in the Youth Court. She has gained a reputation for her diligence and professionalism, and her talent for cross-examination. Monique is particularly experienced in dealing with vulnerable witnesses and defendants.


Monique is currently undertaking an in-house role in Local Government, as she gains experience in areas of law including planning and enforcement, regulatory, public law including environmental health, tax and benefits, licensing, and judicial review. She regularly appears for the Council in bringing prosecutions and representing or instructing in other matters.

Monique also has a background in civil law, including preparing written work and representing both claimant and respondents/defendants in the civil courts. She is taking instructions through Chambers for civil papers and is able to return written work promptly.
